The company
Flowersonline BV is building web-based software for the flower industry. The software is well tested over the last 3 years and the number of users grows fast after its introduction. The software is built for B2B and is standardized for the whole flower industry: growers, importers, wholesalers and logistical partners.
The Owners Flowersonline BV is founded by Pieter Hoff and Wilfred de Wit.
Pieter Hoff, born and raised in Holland, has more than 35 years worldwide experience in the flower and flower bulb industry. He is the innovation motor behind the software.
Wilfred de Wit, born and raised in Holland, has held various positions worldwide in the flower industry in the past 15 years, amongst them producing, trading and international business. He is involved in the development of the software and the expansion of the companies’ infrastructure.
Both owners have sold their interests of their past flower businesses in order to be 100% neutral and focus on Flowersonline. The company works with 100% own capital and doesn’t have other investors with interests in the flower business. For this reason Flowersonline is able to guarantee 100% confidentiality of your information.
Our representatives Although the web-based software helps growing the trading in flowers, our business will always remain a people’s business. The software is an instrument to improve the effectiveness of people, not a replacement for people. Therefore Flowersonline works exclusively with reliable, well known and long time experienced people from the business. As a representative Flowersonline expects them to know everything about the business in order to be able to give personal and live assistance, education and help to our clients.
Our vision Flowersonline wants to create a web-based software standard in the cut-flower industry. It’s our vision to set the standard high, get over 80% of all producers and traders worldwide participating and to reach this goal before 2015.
