Can I use my software 24 hours a day?

Yes, you can trade 24 hours a day on your Private Market Place. The Leaving Farm Dates (LFD) sales are stopped at a time chosen by your supplier(s). After this time, only inventory for the next shipping days and futures of this supplier(s) will be displayed.

What is the contract term I have with Flowersonline?

The contract can be terminated every three months. We do quarterly payments in advance via Paypal or creditcard. No other obligations.

If the grower offers less boxes then I want or a too high price, then how flexible is the system?

If you want more boxes you just request more boxes then his offer. The system makes automatically a Request for More (RfM). The same is valid for the price: you just offer a lower Counter bid (Cb) and the supplier can react on it or not. You can even combine a purchase, an RfM and a Cb all in one action.

What are the possible shipping days?

From Monday till Sunday, up to 7 shipments/ week depending on each grower.

When I enter a number of boxes and click on “buy”, am I agreeing to buy something?

Yes, you will see a list of what you have bought. You can correct mistakes later in the "change orders" page.

How are shipments organized?

Shipments are organized between buyer and vendor. Flowersonline does not interfere in this.

Is there another way to buy apart from the internet?

Yes, you can arrange Standing Orders directly with your supplier(s) and registrate via the system so that afterwards everything is automatically. Both parties have to confirm the new Standing Order.

Can I buy for the future?

If a supplier has offered for future LFD's, you can buy this offer.

How can a supplier offer futures

A supplier has a very simple instrument to offer flowers for the whole year. He can do this in a few minutes. The buyer can check this offer via selecting future LFD's and buy.

When do I get my invoice?

After the AWB number has been given, the system shows the total purchases of that day. The supplier invoices you at the end of the day.

Where do I find my AWB numbers?

They can be found on the invoice that you receive on the shipment day and on the 'purchase- & sales order' page.

What if I am not satisfied with some or all of my shipment?

Contact your supplier immediately, and make a “claim request” on your home page behind the 'claims' button.

What kind of boxes does the system offer?

The system is able to work with all kind of boxes available in the world.

Can I book a Standing Order?

Yes, you can contact your supplier and later on registrate the SO in the system. Everything is streamlined then.

If I cannot find an item in the Market Place, then how to get it?

You can use the button 'Order Requests' and fill in you request. The OR will be send to all suppliers or only your favourite suppliers who grow this product. If they have sufficient offer and if they like your price, they can confirm your request. The system will then send a confirmation to both parties.

Is the product on the Market Place fresh?

That depends on the quality of your suppliers.

Is your company a B2B company?

Yes, we only supply software to B2B companies.

Do you have an annual or registration fee?

You pay a monthly license fee to rent the software. There is no fee or commission over the trading.

How can I find the precise product description of the product when I am purchasing flowers?

Use your mouse to scroll the cursor over the product description, a pop-up box will appear with all product information. Please remember to disable your pop-up blocker when active!

Can I print labels for my customers?

Yes, we have fully integrated the FloralGTIN standard in order to endorse the worldwide standard for the floral industry.

Do customers submit pictures with product and quality claims?

Buyer ands seller make their private rules. The software company doesn't interfere.

After how many days do I pay the purchased flowers and do you calculate interest?

Buyer and seller make their own settlements and conditions.
